ABOUT ORQILO

Built to be trusted with your career.

ORQILO is an AI career operating system. It is built on one rule that shapes everything else: when the product cannot prove a number, it shows you nothing rather than something plausible.

Independently built · Founded 2026

01

What ORQILO Is

ORQILO turns your professional history into one connected profile, then uses it everywhere: building and analysing your resume, scoring it against seven measured checks, researching the market for a role you are targeting, comparing a career pivot against what you have already done, and — on Premium — a Career Twin that remembers what you tell it.

The pieces are not separate tools stapled together. They read the same profile, so a change in one is reflected in the rest. Tell the Career Twin you are aiming somewhere new and your resume tailoring, market research and career path follow.

There is also a Chrome extension that carries your profile alongside your everyday browsing.

02

What ORQILO Provides

Eight surfaces, all reading the same career record.

Written guides on each of these live in the ORQILO guides.

03

The Governing Principle

Career software is unusually easy to fake. A number on a dashboard looks authoritative whether or not anything measured it, and a user has no way to tell the difference. That temptation is what most of this product is designed against.

So there is one rule: when a number cannot be proven, show an empty state instead. Not a reasonable default, not an estimate that looks about right — nothing, plus a next step that would produce a real answer.

Implementation note — legal review required: This is enforced in the type system rather than left to discipline. Dashboard values are wrapped in a type that makes absence a state you have to handle, so a widget cannot accidentally render a number that was never calculated.

04

How It Is Built

Your resume’s facts are unreachable by AI

When AI edits a section of your resume, only prose is read back from the response. Employer names, job titles, dates, degrees and credential IDs are not filtered after the fact — nothing looks for them at all, so they cannot be changed. Bullet counts are clamped so a rewrite cannot add an achievement, and any number that was not in your source is flagged for you.

Your ATS score is calculated, not generated

Seven properties of your resume are measured directly and weighted into one figure. No model is asked for an opinion, so the same resume always scores the same and every point traces to a check you can act on.

Access is decided on the server

What your plan unlocks is determined from your subscription record on ORQILO’s servers, never in your browser, and a plan is only ever granted by a verified payment. Before this was true, anyone signed in could give themselves a paid plan from the browser console. That hole is closed, and there are automated tests whose entire job is to keep it closed.

It says when it does not know

Where a data source is unavailable, the feature reports that rather than degrading quietly into a guess. A grammar check that cannot run is omitted, not estimated. A resume too short to analyse produces no score, not a zero.

05

What We Took Out

The clearest way to describe a product’s standards is to name what failed them. Five invented metrics were found in ORQILO and removed:

An ATS “auto fix”

It added twenty points to the score and changed nothing in the resume.

DOCX uploads that invented text

When extraction failed, it filled the gap — overwriting a real resume with fiction.

A simulated improvement journey

A progress story the user had never actually taken.

Hardcoded trend badges

A “+5%” that was typed in, not measured.

A “Live” badge on stale data

Applied to figures that were never fetched.

None of them were malicious. They are what happens when a product needs a number and does not have one. Finding them is why the rule in Section 2 exists, and why it is enforced in code rather than left to good intentions.

06

Who Builds It

ORQILO is independently designed, engineered and maintained by Ananyo Sarkar. Product design, frontend, backend, the AI integration layer and the infrastructure are the work of one person, iterating in the open.

That has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: ORQILO integrates AI models through their providers’ APIs. It does not train or fine-tune models of its own, and this page no longer says otherwise.

  • AI integration and prompt design
